Banking on it

Last week's refreshing reminder about priorities helped me to see I need to take the "savings account" approach to writing -- pay myself first. I managed an hour or two of writing most days this past week. Slow progress but hey, progress. Back to it.

Telling it like it is

This small but straightforward notice on a workplace computer cracked me up today. Kind of goes back to what I was saying before, without the fuss and worry. So it might not all get done. Just so you know.

It doesn't solve the have-to-dos vs. the want-to-dos, but it's a nice little reminder that maybe those priorities can and should shift around a little.
